Jarvis Green is the proud founder of Top Scholar Tutoring, LLC. With his genuine love for education combined with expertise in mathematics, he instantly developed a role in education. In 2015, he earned a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Norfolk State University. He then followed up by receiving a master’s degree in math education from Grand Canyon University in 2018. As a certified k-12 educator, he has been teaching high school math in Virginia since 2015. He has also spent time teaching developmental mathematics at Tidewater Community College. His result driven approach has led to many students success in and out of the mathematics classroom. Jarvis is a passionate and dedicated individual who unlocks hidden potential, while maximizing performance by believing, encouraging, and developing. He also has strong ties with the community and actively collaborates with non-profit organizations such as Wright Path Outreach and the Green-Hope Foundation in the Hampton Roads area. He annually host a back to school supply drive for families in his native city of Chesapeake, VA. His plans for the company is to continue to grow by adding more programs and partnerships in the near future.
